Hypnotherapy is a therapy in which you have to talk (!) but I also use hypnosis to help you relax so deeply, you can soften, open and go deeper inside. Nothing is ‘done’ to you. You are always fully aware and fully in control. I am just your guide.
Hypnotherapy has been used effectively for thousands of years throughout the history of mankind. In recent times, studies have proved it really works; mainstream health providers are slowly catching up with this idea!
As a hypnotherapist in South London, I have more than ten years of experience, using hypnotherapy techniques to combat stress, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, grief, panic, fears and phobias, I have built up a hypnotherapy practice in the heart of Brixton, South London and have clients coming to me from all around the world (on Zoom) and in person from the surrounding areas of Brixton; including Herne Hill, East Dulwich, Dulwich, West Norwood, Streatham, Clapham, Loughborough Junction and Denmark Hill. I offer sessions online if you find it difficult to get to me in person – I am flexible and can work in with your schedule.
Hypnotherapy is gentle, pleasant and yet powerfully effiective. Nothing is ‘done’ to you, and you won’t find yourself saying things you wish you hadn’t. It is simply a way of helping you relax, soften and open and maybe reach parts of yourself you are not used to accessing. The best thing to do, is get in touch so we can arrange a 20 minute pre-chat.
Hypnotherapy is a form of talking therapy. It is forward and solution-focussed and actually enjoyable. You can expect real lasting change within 6 to 12 sessions.
I see clients in person and/or on Zoom from my hypnotherapy clinic in Brixton, South London. I do prefer to be in a room with clients, but Zoom works just as well, and the benefit of it is, you can leave the session, zone out and process/reflect on your sofa!
My style of working is to use my skills, experience and instinct. I combine tools whichever way I think will encourage change. Sometimes I’m leading, sometimes my client takes the lead, sometimes I sit back and take the powerful role of ‘a witness’, and sometimes I’m suggesting, nudging and joining the dots. No sessions are ever the same.
I am trained in several forms of therapy, not just hypnosis/hypnotherapy, and I bring this, along with a vast wealth of life experience, curiosity and compassion to my sessions.
A 2006 study on the use of Hypnotherapy concluded:
“Positive results, including statistically significant reductions in pain and anxiety/distress…” 2006 Journal of Pain and Symptom Management

This is an email I received from a client of mine, a GP, after five sessions, who I helped guide through a phobia.
Amy had four sessions with me and I saw her transform in so many ways.
Over eight sessions, my client transformed into a happier version of herself. Incredible to witness and an honour to work with.
This is an extract from an email I received from a recent client. She suffered panic attacks on a regular basis.
Karen has four gorgeous boys – and paid them £2 to go off and give her 30 mins to try hypnotherapy with me! She said I could film her ‘before’ and ‘after’ – this is ‘after’.
A full-time teacher, a busy mum and no family in London to help her out; Salome talks to me after a 30 min session of hypnotherapy about the process.
